Little Chelsea Nursery is located amidst the antique shops and boutiques of Little Chelsea Village, within Eastbourne Town Centre.
Mature, well qualified staff are led by a fully qualified teacher who is also an early years professional. Together they provide an exciting, stimulating and fun curriculum that is planned for the individual child at Little Chelsea Nursery. A minibus service is provided to pick up and drop off children from their homes. We currently collect children from Eastbourne and the surrounding areas of Polegate, Hampden Park, Pevensey Bay etc. Children are offered a unique start to their outdoor learning, by using their local community to capture their imagination. They spend time in our local park, beach, library and visiting different shops in their community. This distinctive opportunity helps to extend children's creative and physical development in an environment that combines natural resources, such as gardens and mature trees, with more conventional equipment and materials. We have recently had an excellent Ofsted report, which gave us an outstanding for inclusion. Our inclusive ethos helps our setting mirror the community that our children live in. We work closely with our local community and external professionals to make sure that all children benefit and make maximum use of our learning opportunities. We are able offer 15 hours free childcare a week for 3 and 4 years olds. We also offer very reasonable rates and discounts for NHS, Police and families with Twins. Baby and Toddler Group (Saffrons site)Our baby and Toddler group offers high quality care and education for children from 6 weeks to 2 1/2 years. We provide an exciting, safe and stimulating environment. The nursery space is set up as an open plan environment, enabling children to explore and access resources freely. This encourages children to move around independently from an early age, and start to make their own choices. Our 'Family workers' give all our babies the individual attention that they need, enabling them to follow their routines with regards to feeding and sleeping.
